Edward O Wilson, one of my favorite scientist/philosophers, termed the word Biophilia, which means that all humans possess an innate desire to connect to nature. Indeed, I feel the most relaxed when I am surrounded by nothing but. The sound of the birds chirping on a grassy prairie, the sound of the wind, the quality of the air. Today my world is blanketed, once again, in a few inches of snow. It's quite beautiful and peaceful, even though it makes most of us grumpy, anxious for the music of the robins and chickadees.
