Painted between 2020–2024, this body of work moves from raw, vulnerable self-portraits into more playful explorations of pop surrealism. The four-eyed cats — inspired by my own companions David and Janis — blend cuteness with the uncanny, transforming familiar pets into mystical figures that straddle the line between comfort and strangeness. These works continue my love of pattern, tangled motifs, and symbolic storytelling while embracing humor and imagination.
