Pet Portraits

My pet portraits are an expression of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. There is no bond quite like the ones we make with our animal friends. My goal is to show off that BIG spirit in a big way. You won't be able to walk by your painting every day without a moment of gratitude and contemplation. I want this piece of art to have meaning for you and your family now and generations to come.

If you are local to the Madison area, I like to photograph your pet myself. This gives me an opportunity to meet them and to get the perfect photographs to work from. Not local to the Madison area? No problem! Once you are ready to dive into the commission, I can talk you through the steps of the perfect photograph.

+ Extra large (ex: 40" x 60") oil painting on high quality stretched canvas will start at $3500. 30"x 30" on premium stretched canvas or panel starts at $1800. 18"x24" starts at $950. Small 8"x8" portraits on panel are $350. Options can be discussed regarding size, number of animals per painting, and background pattern. Pattern will cost more. Cost will be determined on an individual basis. This does not include local WI State sales tax or shipping. Please see the FAQ section for more details.

+ I am transitioning from working mainly in acrylic on paper to OIL paint on birch or premium canvas panels which can be hung on the wall without framing.

+ The turn around time can take up to 6 months.
